 | Fender's Den Radio Show Cancelled for the Month of September | |
 | Dear friends, family and fans, It is with great sadness that I announce the Cancellation of Fender's Den radio show JUST for the Month of September. If you are an interview guest or band scheduled for the month, please contact us immediately! With rising expenses and no profit, it has become a challenge to maintain the show. Fender has spent $30,000 over the last 7 years simply to give Louisville Bands, artists, actors, charities and everyone else who needed a voice a platform from which to showcase their talents, events, music and word. The show costs about $250 a month to run when you factor in the internet, the electric and miscellaneous expenses. At this point, this man, who has done nothing but support the Louisville arts community is in desperate financial straits. Fender is an injured former Firefighter who spends countless hours working on the show, it's affiliates and it's fan base. For nothing other than the satisfaction of knowing that he did something right. Everyone has financial woes at this point. The economy has taken it's toll on those who offer free services to the creative community and just about everyone else. The show has never turned a profit, never charged a band or entity for exposure and continues week after week to try and help those that need the help! Fender has spent years working to insure the music and art community within the 502 and beyond gets the recognition that they deserve. He has encouraged, respected and sacrificed simply for the love of the scene and the people who need someone on their side.He has never received an award, an accolade and has spent hundreds of hours helping others. In the year that I have known him, he has helped thousands of people, with very little if anything in return. We are unable to broadcast this month in an effort to keep the show going beyond September. This 30 day hiatus should allow for Fender to catch up with the expenses of the show. It if doesn't, I promise to let you know! Please take a moment to at least thank Fender for all that he has done in the last decade. Take a moment to show your appreciation to the man who has shown kindness and self sacrifice to help so many! His email is fender@denofsin.tv I am sure that at some point, this man has helped you, your band, your event, your family or even your kids....it doesn't cost a dime to say thanks!! <3 If you are touched by this and have any suggestions on finding sponsors or help for the show, please contact me at dustyjune@denofsin.tv. If you happen to win the lottery, please consider donating a half of a percent of your winnings to the operating costs of the radio show! Even a dollar donated is a step in the right direction!
To the stations that support us, host us and help us, we thank you for your kindness and your patience!!! Thank you for your love, your loyalty, your support and your kindness! Until October... Peace out! Or get your Peace in! Dusty June Executive Producer Diva show Host Fender's Den Radio Show
